Happy Thanksgiving from the U.S. Public Service Academy!

Happy Thanksgiving from the U.S. Public Service Academy!

What We Are Thankful For...In addition to our family and friends, we also are very thankful for all of the support we have received this past year, and for the potential that the new year holds. We strongly believe that 2009, with champions like Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel, and Hillary Clinton, along with strong bi-partisan support in Congress, could be the year that the U.S. Public Service Academy becomes a reality.

In order to succeed we are planning events such as congressional hearings, a youth conference, and Hill Days, and we would also like to hire interns to serve in the spring, summer, and fall...but we need your help to make all of this happen. To fund these programs, we need to raise $30,000 online before December 31.

Will you help set the Academy's table for success in 2009?

We sincerely thank you for your support. What can you bring to the Academy's Thanksgiving table?

Let's check our list and see what we still need...

1) Turkey and Tofurkey - check
2) Sweet potatoes - check
3) Gravy - check
4) Dinner rolls - check
5) Pumpkin pie - check
6) Couch to sleep on after dinner - check
7) Tax-deductible donations to support the U.S. Public Service Academy - still needed!

Since November 14 we have raised $2,030 towards our goal of $30,000 by December 31 - a good start, but in order to set the table for success in 2009 we still need lots of help!
