Okay, gang, I am getting ready to head over. I leave this Saturday (2 July 2006), for classes in my current program at Cardiff University:
The Webpage of the Centre for Law and Religion.
The Prospectus of the LL.M. program.
However, before I get to Wales, I am making another visit to The Irish School of Ecumenics, which is a graduate institute of Trinity College Dublin committed to applied research at the intersection of politics, theology and religion.
This trip is about the doctoral studies beyond the LL.M. program. I have been VERY happy about my current studies in Wales, but it would be nice to have the diversity of experience involved in earning the Ph.D. at Trinity. We will see what they have to say.
This is actually a return trip to Ireland; in January, I visited the ISE and met with Prof. John D'Arcy May and he encouraged me to come back and meet with Prof. Linda Hogan. She is the staff expert on human rights, and the new director of the School.
Our appointment is on Monday (3 July 2006), so I will let you know how it goes!
For now, back to the studying!!
